Jasper Beerthuis (1965 Oosterend on Texel) is a Dutch screenwriter. He studied film science (MA in 1996) at the UVA and (BA) screenplay at the film academy in Amsterdam in 1998.
The graduation film Blanche and Marie, which he wrote for Boele Weemhoff, was nominated for a student academy award in 1998. The short film won several awards, including first prize at the Tisch School film festival in New York.
