Flat Girls (2025) by Jirassaya Wongsutin Film Review
Image
In the charming slice-of-life teen drama, “Flat Girls“, director Jirassaya Wongsutin from Thailand creates a delicate portrayal of life in the tenements of police officers of the Bangkok Metropolitan Police, their daily struggles with teenagers coming-of-age, the pain of love and loss in a person’s formative years and how ambition clashes with socio-economic realities in modern Thailand. Flat Girls stars lead actresses Earnearn Fatima Dechawaleekul and Fairy Kirana Pipityakorn, alongside Pakorn ‘Boy’ Chatborirak and Namfon Pakdee.

The film is directed by Jirassaya ‘Claire’ Wongsutin (One Year) and produced by Jira ‘Keng’ Maligool and Vanridee ‘One’ Pongsittisak, who both also produced How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies.
