Earlier this year, Paramount and Miramax announced that they are reviving the Scary Movie horror parody series to bring a Scary Movie 6 to theatres sometime in 2025, with the Wayans Brothers back in creative control – and that announcement has inspired us to go back and revisit the earlier entries in the franchise. Now we’re up to the 2006 sequel Scary Movie 4, and you can hear all about it in the video embedded above.

Directed by David Zucker from a screenplay by Craig Mazin, Jim Abrahams, and Pat Proft, Scary Movie 4 has the following synopsis: Dim-witted Cindy Campbell and her sex-crazed friend, Brenda, team up with cute-but-clueless Tom Ryan to save the world from a hostile alien invasion, with hints of War of the Worlds, Saw II, Million Dollar Baby and The Village.

A week after BET brought hip hop’s best to the stage for its 18th Annual Hip Hop Awards, the network will celebrate 50 years of hip hop coast to coast with the broadcast of the ceremony this Tuesday, Oct. 10. Led by returning host and Grammy nominee Fat Joe, this year’s event will feature performances from DaBaby and more and appearances by pioneers including Jermaine Dupri, LL Cool J, and Ludacris. Hip hop’s best, including the co-lead nominees Cardi B and 21 Savage, battle it out for the top honors, including Hip Hop Artist of the Year. Jermaine Dupri will mark the 25th anniversary of his record label So So Def with a 25th anniversary tour. The 11-city trek, launching October 14th in Washington D.C. and concluding November 2nd in Los Angeles, California, will feature himself, Da Brat, Anthony Hamilton, Xscape, Jagged Edge, Bow Wow, Bone Crusher, Youngbloodz, Dem Franchize Boyz and J-Kwon.

Dupri founded the hip-hop/R&B label in 1993 in Atlanta, Georgia. The rapper-producer told the Associated Press that, over the past 25 years, the label’s roster built a crucial “cultural currency” in the development of Southern hip-hop.

The Bau headed to New York City to solve another freaky case.

But the ghost of Spencer Reid hung over Criminal Minds Season 12 Episode 16.

The case of the week was yet another misogynistic sadist taking out his issues on the women he abducted.

Yeah, I know. Women are more than half the population, but they end up being 90% of the victims on Criminal Minds, especially when torture is involved. It's getting more than a little old.

And torture was definitely involved in this episode, as the unsub nicknamed the Bone Crusher kept breaking as many bones as he could while keeping his victim alive.

In a nice change of pace, the Bau got the unsub, Danny White, handed to them before the first commercial break. They just had to believe.

I figure that wall of broken-bone artwork in the unsub's apartment was enough to make believers of anyone.

Then it...

Right now, Reid could really use that protective custody he should have gotten when he first went into prison on Criminal Minds. It's bad enough he's behind bars, but it looks like things are just going to keep getting a lot worse.

Meanwhile, in "Assistance is Futile," the Bau (minus J.J., who stays behind and visits Reid in prison) travels to New York to track down an UnSub the media is calling the Bone Crusher. You don't need to know anything else to figure out what he's doing to his victims.

New York — "VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Dirty South" might have represented Atlanta, Texas, Miami, New Orleans and everywhere in between, but all points were a unified front for the event Thursday night (June 3) at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

"I always say the East Coast is one piece of bread, and the West Coast is another piece of bread," honoree J. Prince of Rap-a-Lot Records said during the tribute. "And the South is the meat. I describe it that way, 'cause everyone has roots in the South."

Drake, Bun B, the Game, Juvenile and the Geto Boys' Willie D all performed as a part of the Rap-a-Lot set. Drake paid homage to the late Pimp C as he and Bun joined forces for "Get Throwed.
