Moved to the US at the age of 5 from Soviet Union. Grew up in Portland
Oregon and moved to Los Angeles to attend USC School of Cinema/TV from
which she graduated in 1994.
Has worked with several film directors, most notably Irish
writer/director Jim Sheridan whom she considers her mentor.
