Life tends to throw several curveballs our way when it’s least expected. Renee Biran (Carlock) was one such individual who faced several challenges during her incredible weight loss journey. Back in 2018, Biran rose to fame after appearing on TLC’s hit show, My 600-Lb Life, where she made necessary efforts to get her health back in order.

Per usual, Biran sought help from the iconic Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, who has helped multiple individuals recover from their obese lifestyles. One interesting fact about Biran however, is that she was a former plus-size model. In a rice paddy in China, a little boy clad in jeans and a red sweatshirt wakes up, takes in a large breath and wanders through the nearby town. There, after he’s approached by a concerned couple, he faints. The boy’s story is later recounted to Agent Martin Bellamy (Omar Epps). All the agent has to work with to identify the boy is the inscription of “Jacob” inside his shirt and its Mansfield Panthers logo.
