Carin Smolinski

Carin Smolinski is an actress, director, producer based in Vancouver, B.C known for her passion bringing complex characters to the screen. As a former student of June Whittaker who was a student of Meisner, Carin skillfully navigates roles that range from wicked to quirky, crafting rich backstories and inner dialogues for her characters. Recently completing her 8th vertical web series, Carin has established herself as a sought after matriarch in the Vancouver web series scene. Her production of Butterfly Wings has garnered accolades on the film festival circuit including Best Actress, Best Cinematography (Indiana Wilson), best female director. Carin dives into each project with gusto and absolutely delights at being a working actress in her early 50's!
