Scott Shields is a composer, producer and songwriter from Glasgow in Scotland. He has been living and working in London for over 20 years. Known in the UK and the US for his work in feature film, television drama and album recordings, Scott has firmly established himself as one of the best deliverers of contemporary, eclectic and unhesitant scores.
As a multi-instrumentalist and a much in-demand musician, Scott began his career playing, writing and producing with GUN, Shakespeare Sister, KT Tunstall, The Beautiful South and Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros,
It was through his acclaimed collaboration with the iconic Strummer that Scott first ventured into the world of film in 2001, when he and Joe were invited by Hans Zimmer to score the end titles to Black Hawk Down
