Daniela Melgoza
Dani Melgoza [also credited as Daniela Melgoza] was born in Houston, Texas on March 8, 1983. However, she grew up in a variety of places, including Guadalajara, San Diego and ultimately the San Francisco Bay Area.

While attending school in Berkeley, Melgoza discovered she wanted to pursue a career as an actress upon taking an acting class simply to fulfill a requirement. It would ultimately change her life. Since graduating college and relocating to Los Angeles, she has been on a Hollywood fast track - landing one film after another.

Melgoza's film credits include Richard III with David Carradine and Maria Conchita Alonso, Gingerbread Man with Gary Busey, Restraining Order with Robin Givens and James Avery, Lean Like a Cholo: The Movie and Memoirs of a Medicated Child.

Melgoza has also starred in several short films, including Goodnight Vagina with Cheryl Hines and Gary Cole and the drama Knight.

In 2008, the actress received critical acclaim for her portrayal of a former Telenovela star-turned-drug lord's trophy wife in Rick Najera's [MADtv, In Living Color] Latinologues T2U [The Hayworth Theatre / Los Angeles]. Latinologues had a successful run on Broadway in 2005.

Away from the studios and stages, Melgoza enjoys traveling, stand-up comedy, down-hill skiing and boarding, jet skiing, roller coasters (claims she will go on anything) and power yoga. A dog lover, she is active with several local animal rescue organizations.

Melgoza resides in the Los Angeles area.
