Vasiliy Zotov is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In 1997, he graduated with honors from the Higher Theater School of M. Shchepkin, course of Vladimir Safronov. Vasily Zotov first appeared on the dramatic stage as a second-year student. Gradually, he became one of the leading young actors, receiving the best roles in the classical romantic repertoire. Then he was accepted into the troupe of the State Academic Malyy Theater. He was engaged in dubbing and voice-over work for foreign films and animated series.
Vasiliy began acting at an early age and gained his first fame after playing Vanyatka in the historical drama Rossiya molodaya (1981). The next time he appeared on screen was almost two decades later - in the film Den polnoluniya (1998).
