Alaya Knight(III)

I am an independent filmmaker based in Jackson, Mississippi. My lifelong dream has been to work in the entertainment industry-starting with aspirations of becoming an actress and now pursuing my passion as a director of photography (DP). This passion began in my childhood, inspired by watching Disney, Nickelodeon, and Tyler Perry plays. It deepened as I learned more about what it takes to reach the level I aspire to. Hearing the stories behind some of the child actors I grew up watching motivated me even further; I want to create a safe and nurturing environment for future child actors. I firmly believe that God has placed me here to fulfill this purpose and to bring glory to His name.
