Days of Our Lives fans have heard the name Catherina for about a year and a half. Konstantin used the “death” of his daughter to seek revenge on John Black, aka The Pawn, who allegedly killed her. He didn’t. Then, after Konstantin kicked the bucket, her name started popping up again when Cat Greene came on the scene. So it’s no surprise that Days has finally cast its Catherina, who’s alive and tangled up in Clyde’s web. Actress Susan Elena Matus debuted on the soap today.

Catharina Comes To Salem

News broke this weekend that the show has found its newest leading lady. Matus revealed the casting on her Instagram with a post teasing her new role. “Catherina a survivor with complicated family secrets will protect her children at all cost,” she wrote.

Expect to see Catherina in scenes opposite Billy Flynn’s Chad and AnnaLynne McCord’s Cat as of Monday, December 9th. Chad and Cat are on a mission to find her mama and it seems they reunite and come face to face.
