Kjerstin is a sixth generation Los Angelean and was born and raised in Southern California. She has had a passion for modeling and acting since she was a child. She spent her undergrad at the University of Colorado graduating in three years in 2005 with a BA in Communication. Upon graduating, she worked as an attorney recruiter at a global law firm, planning events and retreats for five years before leaving to pursue her master's degree in education from Vanguard University.
Kjerstin has taught English and Writing in public school in both California and Colorado, where she and her husband moved to in 2013. She is credentialed to teach in English, Mathematics, and Multiple Subjects (for elementary school).
Kjerstin has had a prolific nonprofit career, traveling the world for various outreach projects. She taught English as a second language with the Doorways program for a number of years, is a board member of Operation Epic that provides clean drinking water filters to those residing in Haiti, and is the co-founder and president of Charlie's Guys - a national nonprofit that provides thousands of bereaved children annually with a special gift or experience to help them on their grief journey.
In 2024, Kjerstin authored "How to Build a Nonprofit," a step-by-step guide instructing others how to start their own passion projects.
Kjerstin has been featured in Prada, Crocs, Fisher Price, and other major brands and designers. She has been featured in commercials, print, feature films, and has a passion for growing her career and impact.
