    • Elisabeth Hauptmann was born on June 20, 1897 in Peckelsheim, Willebadessen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. She was a writer, known for America's Musical Theater (1985), Happy End oder Wie ein kleines Heilsarmeemädchen Chicagos größte Verbrecher in die Arme der Gesellschaft zurückführte (1972) and Dreigroschenfilm (2018). She was married to Paul Dessau and Friedrich Wilhelm Werner Kurt Hacke. She died on April 20, 1973 in Berlin, Germany.
