Tyana Rawls

Ms.Tyana Rawls was born and raised in Houston Texas. Tyana Rawls was trained in acting within the categories of theatrical, method, character building and dramatic interpretation by Paula Mayfield-Bausley for four years. She has played roles from wonderful classic memorable theatrical playwrights, including 'The Wiz' where she starred as Dorothy, 'Annie' where she starred as Annie and 'School House Rock Live 'where she starred as 'Inter Planet Janet'. Through her years of training, she also actively participated in theatrical drama competitions, winning numerous 1st place recognition awards within the dramatic interpretation category with the piece 'Caught up in the Rapture by Sheneska Jackson'. Rawls also trained for the profound High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where she accomplished completing a final round audition with forty out of five hundred talented individuals within the acting department. Tyana is interested in reestablishing, exploring and building her acting career; she looks forward to starring in recurring plays, and future endeavors. She enjoys dramatic, heartfelt surreal pieces as well as tragedy, fantasy, soul, comedy-drama and improvisation. She loves anthology films and is looking forward to starring in one soon.
