Amy Julia Rose

Amy Julia Rose is a Canadian actress, musician, dancer and writer. From a very young age, she was fascinated by the performing arts. As the oldest of three siblings, she was always involving her sister and brother in her creative projects. At seven, she wrote a musical starring her and her sister. At twelve, she wrote, composed, directed and acted in a holiday movie with her brother. Every time friends would come over, she would always involve them in some sort of performance, whether it was a song, a play, a comedy show, a movie or a concert. Amy knew early on that her imagination was endless. Acting, dance and music were always her biggest passions. She started piano lessons as a toddler, composed her first song at four, and went on to compose many more. She acted in her first play at age six, and immediately fell in love with the theatre. She would memorize not only her lines, but everyone else's as well. She took her first dance class at four and has been trained in many different styles of dance, including ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, character and musical theatre. She performed throughout her childhood, and majored in theatre at the University of Guelph. After completing her BA, she spent a year teaching English in Italy, where she got to combine her love of teaching and her love of languages. Amy is fluent in Italian and Spanish, conversational in Russian, and proficient in over 25 different accents and dialects. She loves learning new ways to speak, helping others learn accents and dialects, and creating characters with unique and meaningful voices. Amy loves living and performing in Los Angeles. Having completed the two-year program at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting, Amy has gained so much knowledge and insight from some of the most influential acting teachers. She's always continuing to work on her craft and discover her potential. Amy is always grateful to her incredibly supportive family, who instilled a love of the arts in her from the very beginning, and inspires her to work hard and be the best version of herself possible.
