For all you Star Wars fans who have a couple of hours to kill today, I suggest you check out these two videos that feature about two hours of deleted scenes and alternate footage from George Lucas' original Star Wars Trilogy. 

This footage was all edited together as a fan-made documentary film by Garrett Gilchrist. He calls it Star Wars: Deleted Magic. There's a ton of stuff here that I've never ever seen before, and there's a pretty good chance most of you haven't seen either.  Here's what the creator of the doc said:

In 2005, "Star Wars" megafan Garrett Gilchrist sat down and laboriously compiled a 2-hour-long “Star Wars” tribute -- using no footage from the films. Instead, he used a hodgepodge of material released by LucasFilm over the years including deleted and unfinished scenes, making-of footage, and interviews. The result is a well-planned documentary-style feature that probably includes dialogue and images you’ve never seen before. Though the most recent tweaks to the film were made in 2009, the creator recently posted “Star Wars: Deleted Magic” Parts 1 and 2 on Vimeo, so it is now readily available for streaming. Watch early Who Framed Roger Rabbit footage with Paul "Pee-wee Herman" Reubens.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is, of course, a classic. The live-action/animation hybrid began life as a (much darker) novel by Gary K. Wolf, Who Censored Roger Rabbit, and had a long journey to the screen (they snapped up the rights shortly after the novel was published) before director Robert Zemeckis ultimately struck box-office gold. Animator Darrell Van Citters was once set to helm the flick, and courtesy of this article from The Dissolve we can get a look at what this lost version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit might have been.
