Fabrizio Celestini attended the E.Q. Visconti High School in Rome, studied at the Faculty of Architecture at "La Sapienza" University of Rome, and the School of Fashion at Kingston College in the UK.

In 1982, he moved to New York City where he worked for three seasons as the Art Director for Elsa Martinelli's prêt-à-porter collections on Seventh Avenue. After a brief stint in Fashion Advertising in NYC, he moved to Los Angeles to attend a course in film and television production at UCLA. Subsequently, he worked on TV film productions for Viacom (Showtime, Paramount), Carolco, and other independent companies.

From 1986 to 1992, he served as a senior executive at Racing Pictures, where he was responsible for business affairs and production. During his tenure he managed several television productions, co-produced with both RAI and Mediaset, and participated in film markets and festivals like MIP, MIFED, American Film Market, Cannes, and Venice.

In the mid-'90s, the Rector of the Pontifical Gregorian University, P. Giuseppe Pittau SJ, entrusted Celestini with the task of creating the Office for Public Relations and the university's magazine, in collaboration with the Gregorian Foundation of New York.

From 1996 to 1998, he volunteered at the Committee for the Vatican Jubilee tasked with fund-raising for the Great Jubilee of 2000. During this time, he met Richard Leach, producer of the PBS series on the Second Vatican Council, with whom he launched the project "Francesco Il Musical," overseeing the design and construction of the Lyrick Theatre in Assisi. The theatre was inaugurated in May 2000 during the Great Jubilee of the Catholic Church.

In 1998, Celestini founded Promnibus S.r.l., and in 2003, Efeso Produzioni S.r.l. He resigned as president of Promnibus in February 2010 and sold his shares in the company.

Fabrizio Celestini is the Administrator and shareholder of The FabMax Company Ltd, a British production company founded in 2018. The FabMax Company Ltd focuses on the development of new projects based on original IPs in both the audiovisual and live entertainment sectors.
