The Definitive Edition also adds new character skins (outfits) for Johnny Cage, Kitana, Scorpion, and Shao Khan inspired by Mortal Kombat II, which arrives in theatres this fall; the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie character skin for Sub-Zero; and the...

Scroll down for this week’s Tubefilter Chart.

December 2024 was a great month for individual creators in the U.S. Top 100. Of the six channels that got the most subscribers during the 31-day measurement period, five feature creators’ names (or screen names) in their titles: MrBeast, The Stokes Twins, Topper Guild, Vlad and Niki, and Mark Rober.

‘Spithood’ Movie Ending Explained & Full Story: Is Ashley Dead Or Alive?
Image
Imagine a serial killer on the loose inside your office building; you would want to stick together with your colleagues, right? But not when you’re a horror/thriller movie character. You have no other option but to be dumb (enough to split off from other people) and end up dead. We’re talking about the Australian movie Spithood here, not a single character of which breaks this mold. Not having expected much from it, I was mildly entertained and thought the running length of under one hour was its biggest plus point. In this article, of course, we’re going to talk about Spithood and look into the surprising final twist—although it doesn’t make the movie any better or worse.

Spoilers Ahead

What happens in the movie?

At a psychiatric correctional facility that is about to close down, we find the employees—mainly doctors and security personnel...

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Review – Mayhem Marred by Multiverse Meddling
Image
The world of Mortal Kombat expands once more with Khaos Reigns. Since its beginnings in the early 90s, the franchise has delighted fans with over-the-top violence and an engaging mix of mysticism and science fiction. Last year’s Mortal Kombat 1 successfully rebooted the franchise for a new generation. Now this expansion story packs even more epic mayhem.

Khaos Reigns launches players straight back into the action with additional new playable warriors to master. But its true main attraction is the single-player story mode. As with past entries, it delivers cinematic cutscenes crafted to feel like blockbuster films. This time, the maniacal Havik has invaded the realm, seeking to rip apart the fabric of reality itself. Old allies and enemies must put aside differences to stop the coming chaos.

Does this new narrative live up to the grand finales fans have come to expect? While the expansion introduces fun new fighters,...

Omni-Man’s animality was recently revealed and he transforms into the giant kaiju, Hail Mary, from the Invincible series. This terrifying form draws directly from a pivotal fight in Season 1, where Hail Mary nearly kills Omni-Man, making the animality a terrifying homage to one of the most intense battles from the animated series.

Omni Man Looks Spectacular in Mortal Kombat 1

Animalities first appeared in Mortal Kombat 3 and allowed fighters to transform into spirit animals to perform finishing moves. The feature has since been absent from the franchise for nearly 20 years.
