Scott was an international kickboxing competitor in the 90's and headlined major fight cards in Las Vegas, Tokyo Japan, and Moscow Russia. He held U.S. Heavyweight titles in kickboxing and Shootboxing. He also holds a 2nd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and is also a widely recognized trainer in Muay Thai and founded Bam Bam Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Houston, Texas.
