Billy Minshall

Billy Minshall is an actor and writer who has appeared in several television shows, including NBC's Chicago P.D. Film credits include the acclaimed indie feature Tom of Your Life (2020) and a starring role in Ripper Was Here, a forthcoming short film directed by Emmy-award winner Joel Kazuo Knoernschild. Billy can also be seen as Ben Franklin in a series of national commercials for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, and earned an MFA in Fiction Writing from the low-residency program at UCR-Palm Desert. Billy's fiction and essays have appeared in literary journals and magazines, and his short story "Snowman" was anthologized in The Dark Waves of Winter, a collection of "surf-noir" short stories published by Kelp Books in 2023.
