The Los Angeles Philharmonic led by conductor Gustavo Dudamel was in full swing on Saturday for the second weekend of Coachella after appearing last weekend. It was a star-studded affair, which included surprise performances by Dave Grohl and Cynthia Erivo.

Dave Grohl made a surprise appearance during weekend two of Coachella, joining Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic to perform renditions of Foo Fighters’ “The Sky Is a Neighborhood” and “Everlong.”
The set also featured guest appearances from Cynthia Erivo, who covered Prince’s “Purple Rain,” Laufey, Natasha Bedingfield, and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the Venezuelan-born Dudamel called Coachella a “dream” gig, adding that it “represents a journey of making music accessible to everybody, but also creating a culture where people don’t feel that classical music is far away, not part of their lives.” It also marked the culmination of Dudamel’s 17-year tenure as conductor of the LA Phil, as he’ll be departing to lead the New York Philharmonic next year.

In an impassioned plea on social media, Robbie Williams has called on fans to be more respectful of artists when they are approaching them for photos, suggesting that people consider that celebrities also deserve privacy.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, the singer drew upon his own personal experience to make a larger point about the way people interact with celebrities, in the hopes that people will be more understanding in either respecting boundaries or not feeling deflated if their heroes don’t agree to a photo opportunity.
Williams, the subject of the recent, critically acclaimed biopic Better Man, wrote that he was writing the post whilst on a “domestic flight, going across America,” where he had “three interactions with fellow passengers” in which they asked for a photo with him. He explained how each interaction went down, offering an insight into the crippling anxiety he feels at the best of times,...

Praise be, The Handmaid’s Tale has made its runway debut.
In collaboration with Hulu for the forthcoming sixth and final season of their hit Emmy-winning dystopian series, fashion designer Christian Siriano has reimagined Gilead’s iconic red cloak for the runway. The item’s catwalk debut also celebrates the 40th anniversary of Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel on which the series is based.
The custom piece debuted as part of Siriano’s Fall/Winter 2025 Collection, which Siriano said was overall inspired by the idea of futurism and modern technology.
Siriano’s red cloak came to life amid the collection as a draped cape with structured shoulders, including a voluminous hood that was shed on the runway as a symbolic act of liberation and empowerment. By “reclaiming the red,” Siriano and Hulu aim to tell an inspiring story of resilience and transformation. The garment that has so often been viewed as a...

It’s Bonnaroo’s turn to unveil its 2025 lineup, and what a weird and wonderful collection of artists they’ve brought together to perform at the Manchester, Tennessee, music festival from June 12th to 15th.
Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, the Creator, Hozier, and Luke Combs top the 2025 bill, but it’s the undercard where the magic really lies. Notable names include Queens of the Stone Age, Megadeth, Justice, Avril Lavigne, Tyla, Goose, Modest Mouse, Glass Animals, Beabadoobee, Mj Lenderman, The Lemon Twigs, Raye, Foster the People, Jpegmafia, Nelly, Jack’s Mannequin, Natasha Bedingfield, Marcus King, Royel Otis, and Mannequin Pussy. Plus, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will be playing three (!) separate sets over the course of the weekend, and Remi Wolf will be hosting a 1970’s Pool Party-themed SuperJam. And all of that’s without mentioning Insane Clown Posse (!!), who are set to make their Bonnaroo debut. Yes, Bonnaroovians and Juggalos, together at last.

“You can think of it as entirely unpredictable or completely foreseeable,” Gardner continued. “Unbelievably spectacular or just the same thing over and over and over again. I’m talking about winning.”
The promo featured clips of the Chiefs’ back-to-back wins at Super Bowl Lvii and Lviii.

While there are several classic films dedicated to the Halloween and Christmas holidays, those set during Thanksgiving are few and far between. Enter Jordan Weiss’ and Dan Brier’s Sweethearts starring Kiernan Shipka and Nico Hiraga, a hilarious holiday rom com that arrived on Max Nov. 28.
The film follows Jamie (Shipka) and Ben (Hiraga) as they realize, in their first semester of college, that they need to break up with their high school sweethearts Simon (Charlie Hall) and Claire (Ava DeMary) respectively because the relationships are holding them back. Their best friend Palmer (Caleb Hearon) offers to host a small soiré the night before Thanksgiving where they plan to break the news, but chaos ensues as a night of parties, absinthe, drugs and more combine to create a perfect storm of events.

“Sweethearts” does not disappoint in delivering college nostalgia and a party playlist to match.
Jordan Weiss, creator of “Dollface,” made her directorial debut with the Max original rom-com and said that her collaboration with co-writer Dan Brier mirrored the relationship between on-screen best friends, Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) and Ben (Nico Hiraga).
“There’s so many benefits to Dan [Brier], and I’s real life, male-female perspectives,” director and executive producer Jordan Weiss told TheWrap. “I love that our soundtrack had a mix of Tyler, The Creator and Carly Rae [Jepsen]. We both brought our own music tastes, and I think it helps it appeal to a broader audience.”
“The DNA is very mixed,” Dan Brier added.

Warning: This article includes Major Spoilers for Max's Sweethearts!
Max’s Sweethearts is packed with upbeat songs that help shape the pacing and tone of the movie. While Christmas and New Years Eve-themed rom-coms are abundant, Thanksgiving-themed films aren’t a staple of the genre, setting apart the HBO Max original movie Sweethearts. The show follows Jamie and Ben, a pair of best friends who make a pact to break up with their high school sweethearts on Drunksgiving – the day before Thanksgiving, where all the high schoolers party and drink. However, their plan doesn’t go as smoothly as they hoped, taking the pair all across a rural Ohio city.
The Keirnan Shipka movie might have a divisive ending, with the lead couple not getting together, but it’s still a fantastic movie that keeps the audience's attention. The story includes laugh-out-loud moments and likable moments that are held together with an A+ soundtrack.

It’s generally never a good idea, as a romantic comedy, to invoke “When Harry Met Sally” and remind audience members that they could be watching an influential all-time great example of the form instead of one of its many derivatives. But “Sweethearts,” a new Max original, earns its shout-out to the Nora Ephron classic better than most. At the tail end of the Thanksgiving comedy, male lead Ben (Nico Hiraga) sits down with his parents after dinner to watch the 1989 Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan vehicle, only to find the iconic “Men and women can’t be friends” speech hits a bit too close to home.
That’s a question that’s been hanging over his relationship with Bff Jamie (Kiernan Shipka of “Mad Men” and “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” fame) for a while now. Tight-knit since eighth grade and now attending the same college, the two do practically...

Even if you've never seen "All in the Family," there's a high probability that you're at least somewhat familiar with the character of Archie Bunker (Carroll O'Connor), his well-meaning albeit shrill wife Edith (Jean Stapleton), and his constant conflict as a conservative patriarch against a progressively evolving world. If that sounds like the set-up for every family sitcom ever made, it's because, well, it is. "All in the Family" is one of the most influential TV shows in history, and that's not even factoring in the web of spin-offs it inspired like "The Jeffersons," "Maude," "Gloria, "704 Hauser,' "Good Times," and "Archie Bunker's Place."
The latter was a direct continuation of "All in the Family," set primarily in the neighborhood tavern purchased by Archie in the eighth season of the flagship sitcom. "Archie Bunker's Place" starts when he takes in a Jewish business partner named Murray Klein after co-owner...

The Voice judge Gwen Stefani is very competitive when it comes to landing talent for her team, and nothing is off limits for her when it’s time to secure the top-tier talent, as viewers saw in recent scenes.
The Voice Is Back For An All-New Season
The reality singing competition is currently back on the air with Season 26. The judges are in the middle of sorting through the best talent, as the blind auditions continue. This is the point in the competition where both the judges and the viewers get the first taste of the talent pool on offer.
Due to this, this is the ideal time to see who will make the cut and get one of the chairs to turn around. This season on The Voice, competitors hope to impress Gwen Stefani, Michael Buble, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg. Getting even one judge to turn their chair could be life-changing.

The Challenge continues to introduce castmates who become romantic, whether dating one another during the filming or away from the show.
Among the couples that fans saw form are Leroy Garrett with Kam Williams, Zach Nichols with Jenna Compono, and Cara Maria Sorbello with Paulie Calafiore.
More recently, viewers saw castmates Horacio Gutierrez and Nurys Mateo explore a showmance on the show that led to a romantic relationship away from reality TV.
Former Survivor winner Michele Fitzgerald hasn’t had the best of luck on the show regarding men.
That included her discovering after MTV’s Season 39 that castmate Callum Izzard was exploring a showmance with her during filming, all while he had a girlfriend away from the show.
She also expressed interest in castmates Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat and Emanuel Neagu, neither of which worked out in her favor.
However, Michele may have finally found happiness with another castmate from The Challenge.

Natasha Bedingfield is opening up about her rise to fame in the early 2000s and the struggles she faced with extra media attention.
The singer, whose hit song “Unwritten,” released in 2004, scored a new jolt in popularity after being featured in the Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell-led rom-com Anyone but You, recently got candid with The Telegraph about the impacts of stardom.
“The paparazzi were always kind to me but they were very mean about my brother, just because they couldn’t have two siblings doing well at the same time,” Bedingfield explained. Her brother Daniel Bedingfield, best known for his song “If You’re Not the One,” also found success with music.
“It’s interesting what that does to a culture because even if they’re not mean to you, there’s a threat that they could be and you end up living in that fear,” she continued.
