    • Ken Barrie was born on January 9, 1933 in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Requins (1975), L'éveil d'Emily (1976) and Le silence qui tue (1979). He was married to Doreen Pye. He died on July 29, 2016 in Denham, Buckinghamshire, England, UK.

Trivia

  • He provided the original voice for the title character and many of the other characters in the animated series Le facteur Pat (1981). He also sang the show's theme song.
  • He did voice-overs for films and television ads. He dubbed singing voices for many stars in films and on television, including Larry Hagman, Horst Buchholz and George C. Scott.
  • He took his stage name from the first names of his wife's two brothers.
  • His son Paul Hulme died in a road accident at the age of 38, in the year 1998.
  • One of the regular group of session singers recording budget-price covers for the Embassy label, sold in Woolworth's stores. Many of these were under the name Les Carle. He dropped this name after being told that it was French for "The Charlie".
