Aldo Pisano is originally from San Francisco. He is a Latino writer/director that loves to create irreverent and surreal comedy.
His '60s pilot, "Our Shag Pad", won Best Web Series at Warner Media's NY Latino Film Festival and Best Original Series at HBO's Urbanworld. It premiered at the Austin Film Festival and was presented by WB's Stage 13.
He wrote & directed the web series "When the Bomb Drops", starring Emmy Winner Rachel Bloom. This project was nominated for an Imagen Award.
Aldo sold a half-hour pilot to Turner Broadcasting's Super Deluxe -- and he developed a series with A Stern Talking To at Warner Bros. Writing credits include "Ben 10" for Cartoon Network.
Recently, Aldo finished post on a horror-comedy, "Real Zombie Movie" -- and wrapped filming on the sci-fi satire "Pretties vs Uglies".
He is a member of a weekly creative group led by Nicholas Weinstock, producer of "Severance".
Early on, Aldo wrote for the ABC and CBS Talent Showcases. He also studied & performed at New York's Public Theater. Acting opposite Oscar Winner JK Simmons on TBS' "Men at Work" was a highlight.
Aldo has participated in the National Hispanic Media Coalition's TV Writers Program sponsored by ABC and NBC -- and he is an alumni of Sony's Diverse Directors Program.
