Since 1992, he has professionally participated in over 100 stage productions and was a member of the permanent ensemble of the Compañía Nacional de Teatro from 2008 to 2017.
In film, he starred in Duck Season (Temporada de Patos) by Fernando Eimbcke, earning the Ariel Award for Best Actor. He has also been nominated for his performances in Blue Eyelids (Párpados Azules) by Ernesto Contreras and Nora's Will (Cinco Días Sin Nora). He has appeared in dozens of films and series throughout his career.
Among his most recent theater performances are Testosterona and Three Sisters (3 Hermanas) directed by Diego del Río, The Author (El Autor) by Benjamín Cann, White Rabbit, Red Rabbit (Conejo Blanco, Conejo Rojo), Peek Chuun, and Let Thebes Burn (Que Arda Tebas), for which he was nominated for the Metro Awards as Best Actor.
His recent film releases include Detrás de la Montaña, The Mongolian Conspiracy (Complot Mongol) by Sebastián del Amo, and Asfixia by Kenya Márquez, which was recognized at the Morelia Film Festival (FICM) 2018 and earned him a Pecime 2020 nomination for Best Actor.
He can currently be seen in the Amazon Prime series Diablo Guardián, Run Coyote Run for Fox, and Crime Diaries: The Colosio Case (Historia de un Crimen: Colosio). He also appears as Paniagua in Belascoarán on Netflix, as Camacho in El Mantequilla for Disney, in The Black Minutes (Los Minutos Negros) by Mario Muñoz, and in ¡Que Viva México!, the latest film by Luis Estrada, also for Netflix.
