12 Action Movies Like Eenie Meanie You Must See
Image
Directed by Shawn Simmons, Hulu’s action thriller film ‘Eenie Meanie’ is a wildly entertaining tale of a former getaway driver named Edie Meaney (Samara Weaving) who goes on a dangerous and adrenaline-pumping ride to save her ex-lover, John (Karl Glusman), from dangerous people, and accompany him on the mission to execute a heist at a casino. She risks her life as she puts her lethal driving skills on the table again, in a tale of love, redemption, courage, and loyalty.

The relationship between the main character and her former lover is tested as they face the ups and downs of a heist. The cast also includes Andy Garcia as...

Jason Statham Fans Will Be Heartbroken on November 30
Image
The Italian Job, one of Jason Stathams early iconic roles, is bidding farewell to Prime Video on November 30, and fans of the action star are bound to be disappointed. The 2003 heist classic brought together a powerhouse cast with Statham starring alongside Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, and Edward Norton in a high-stakes tale of revenge, betrayal, and unforgettable Mini Cooper chases through the streets of Los Angeles. Statham, and a surprising amount of hair on his head, is a standout as usual as Handsome Rob, the smooth talking getaway driver for the gang. The movie is a remake of the classic 1969 British heist film of the same name. The original film starred Michael Caine as the charming and daring Charlie Croker, who leads a team of thieves in an elaborate plan to steal gold in Turin, Italy.

Italian Job Remake With Jason Statham & Mark Wahlberg Lands on Prime Video This Week
Image
One of the earlier action movie roles for action hero superstar Jason Statham is all set to race its way onto Prime Video this Friday. Statham is, of course, now considered to be one of the best action movie stars of all time, with his characters often depicted as gruff fighting experts who are quicker to use their fists than their words. Well, in a slight change of pace, fans can watch The Stath turn on the charm in The Italian Job, which is due to land on the streaming platform on November 1.

Starring alongside an all-star ensemble cast that includes Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Edward Norton, Seth Green, Mos Def, and Donald Sutherland, The Stath plays crew member Handsome Rob. Rather than a straight-up remake, The Italian Job is inspired by the 1969 British movie of the same name starring Michael Caine, and follows a gang of thieves who find...

This $129M Hit Brilliantly United Mark Wahlberg & Jason Statham - And I Can't Believe Its Sequel Was Canceled
Image
The Italian Job featuring Mark Wahlberg and Jason Statham was a successful heist film that missed out on a sequel. Wahlberg and Statham's chemistry was undeniable, yet they've never co-starred in a movie since. The proposed sequel, The Brazilian Job, was in development but ultimately got scrapped due to Paramount losing interest.

Mark Wahlberg and Jason Statham co-starred in a movie that raked in almost $130 million, and I'm still mad that it never got a sequel. Mark Wahlberg and Jason Statham are some of the biggest names in the action genre today, yet they've rarely crossed paths throughout their careers. Out of every action role Mark Wahlberg has had and all of Jason Statham's action movies, they only have one film in common. Pairing Wahlberg and Statham together was almost a guaranteed recipe for success, and it ended up being one of my favorite heist movies ever.

Their shared project...

Jason Statham's $7.3 Billion Franchise Role Proves How Much He Needs To Revive His 21-Year-Old Hit
Image
Statham should consider reviving older movie franchises, like The Italian Job, given his recent success with Fast & Furious. The Italian Job could become a Fast & Furious replacement for Statham, especially as the Fast & Furious franchise nears its end. Despite potential financial hurdles, Paramount should seriously consider making The Italian Job 2 given the success of similar action-heist films.

Jason Statham needs to revive one of his potential movie franchises after more than two decades based on the success he's had with Fast & Furious. Statham found his biggest action franchise to date once he agreed to play Deckard Shaw in the Fast & Furious movies. His decision to join the $7.3 billion franchise came after he was already well-established as a seasoned action movie star. The British actor has only become more recognizable in the years since joining Fast & Furious, allowing him to launch new franchises and consider returning to older ones.
