London is trained as a "first responder" and is a volunteer Registered Nurse for the L.A. County Surge Unit.

In March 2010 London, also a part-time ER nurse, spent a week in earthquake ravaged Haiti where he volunteered as part of an emergency medical team.

London was photographed by renowned author Brandon Stanton and featured in his #1 New York Times bestseller, Humans of New York: Stories.

As a Registered Nurse, London was recognized three times by The DAISY Foundation, and in 2016 he was the winner of the international DAISY award for nursing excellence and distinction in the field of pediatrics.
