- Jordón Shinn (Jay Khun) is an American actor, model and VO artist based in Bangkok, Thailand. He speaks both neutral American English and standard British English. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and speaks basic Thai.
The son of a painter and a jazz guitarist, Jay was born with an artistic soul and has been passionate about storytelling from a young age. A longtime expat in Asia, his acting career began as a contestant on CCTV4's reality series, "My First Close Encounter with China." He then was a regular guest on CCTV4's "Happy Chinese" TV show, and stared in various documentaries, advertisements and film productions for the Chinese market.
Since relocating to Thailand in 2020, Jay has been featured in lead and support roles for various TVCs and miniseries projects. His commercial work includes leads roles in TVCs for Chame', FaThai, Enchanteur, B-Quik and Bar B Q Plaza. His movie credits include support roles the Thai sci-fi drama "Uranus 2324" (NASA driver) and "Speed Train" (conductor) an American sci-fi action movie set for release in 2024, "Rambo vs Johnny Cage" (gambler) an action tribute film, "War Gene II" (soldier) an international action sci-fi film and "My Head" (alter ego) an independent short film and a forthcoming Korean comedy movie (racist tourist) under production.
Jay is a student of Erich Fleshman (Meisner technique) at Illuminate Acting Academy and has taken acting classes at MasterClass Studio - Performing Arts School and Learning Space in Bangkok. He has trained with the renown action actor Ron Smoorenburg for action acting and stunts.
In addition to acting, Jay is a graduate of the Act One Hollywood Writing Program for screenwriting, as well as the creative director of OmegaModeling talent agency.
