"Ken Aldin" is one of German composer, arranger and guitarist Jurgen Franke's pseudonyms. He also utilized the names "Frank Mantis," "Juan Demonio" and "Nick Frazer" among others. He arranged and played for Big Bands and was associated with a prominent radio orchestra for many years. He was a well-known composer in the field of production (library) music. His composition as Ken Aldin, "Tuning Up," was written for the Frankfurt-based Golden Ring music library. It originally appeared on a vinyl LP entitled "Meet The Gang" featuring Frank and the Top Ten (Golden Ring Records A 30 006 RM, Side 2, Cut 2), the album from which the Pyramid series (1973-1981) licensed its theme. Jurgen Franke died at the age of 88 in 2017.
