Η φετινή σεζόν ήταν ασυνήθιστη για τον ασιατικό κινηματογράφο, μιας και δεν υπήρχε κάποιο αριστούργημα του διαμετρήματος των Παρασίτων ή του Burning, αλλά ως σύνολο, πολύ περισσότερες καλές ταινίες, κάτι που πολύ πιθανόν να οφείλεται και στο ότι πολλές παραγωγές είχαν παγώσει λόγω Covid και προβλήθηκαν φέτος.
