Daniel Fabelo

Daniel is a Latino filmmaker originally from Austin, Texas, and is the son of Cuban and Puerto Rican parents. For a time, he was a writer/director for online powerhouse, Rooster Teeth, co-writing and co-directing the sci-fi comedy feature, Lazer Team 2, as well as the paranormal comedy series, Haunter. His latest short film, "El Gato Feo", is a Spanish language western which follows two estranged sisters during the Mexican Revolution. In 2024, he attended the Souther Producers Lab in association with the New Orleans Film Society and produced the short film, "Juana Pelos", a Latina-driven comedy directed by Maria Mealla.
