Jake Apricity Hetherington

Jake Apricity Hetherington is a 10-year-old classically trained treble/soprano and actress from Vancouver, BC. She made history as the youngest performer ever to take on the title role of The Little Prince in the Canadian premiere with Pacific Opera Victoria in 2025.
She has earned gold medals in Level 3 and 4 Voice from the Royal Conservatory of Music, landed a recurring role on the #1 Netflix series Virgin River, and completed advanced training at the Broadway Artist Alliance in New York City, majoring in voice.
Jake has appeared in multiple productions with Vancouver Opera and UBC Opera, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Carmen, The Cunning Little Vixen, and Cendrillon.
Her first operatic title role came at just 7 years old in Amahl and the Night Visitors.
A multi-talented performer, Jake is passionate about singing, acting, dance, and fashion. In her spare time, she enjoys performing the national anthems at Vancouver Whitecaps/BC Lions games (BC Place) and Vancouver Canadians games (Nat Bailey Stadium). Jake's dream is to inspire a new generation to discover the magic and wonder of opera.
