Landon Van Soest is an award-winning director and producer of documentaries, known for The Jewel Thief (2023), For Ahkeem (2017), and Good Fortune (2009). He is an Emmy Award winner, a Fulbright Scholar, two-time Sundance fellow, and founder of the Brooklyn-based Transient Pictures and the not-for-profit Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective. He was raised in rural Colorado and lives in New York City.
