His filmography is often confused with music director Monty Sharma due to them having the same name.

Monty Nath assisted Manoj Kumar for 8 years. Manoj had planned to launch his brother Rajiv Goswami and Monty Nath together in a film. Monty waited for the film to start. But Manoj finally decided against it and finally made Painter Babu with only Rajiv Goswami.
