Had an illegitimate son with whom she lost contact right after he was
born. He was taken from her and placed with adoptive parents while she
was sent to a Madgalene asylum. Towards the end of her life, long after
having left the Magdalene Laundry to make a new life for herself, she
revealed her son's existence, and with the help of her loved ones, she
was able to locate him just before her death.
