Anthony John Crane was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and remains to this day a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan. Anthony began his higher education at Boston University's School of Liberal Arts, and after three years there, moved on to St. Katherine's College, Oxford, UK, where he finished his four-year Bachelor of Arts degree. Also during his time abroad, Anthony started modeling, not so much as a career choice but as way to finish his higher education and travel. After modeling stints in London, Paris and Milan and upon coming back to the States, Anthony continued his post-graduate studies at NYU Film School and the Lee Strasberg Acting Institute, both in New York City and at UCLA in Los Angeles where he studied film. Anthony's stateside modeling career also flourished during this time; he appeared in campaigns for J.Crew, Ralph Lauren, Gap, while working with some of the biggest names in fashion. Anthony has also appeared in over fifty national and international commercials most notably for Pepsi, Schick, Budweiser, Sony, Lipton, among others. Also, while based in New York City and in between pilot season crawls to Los Angeles, Anthony was a founding member of the Access Theatre in lower Manhattan, which has debuted the early works of many respected theater artists, including Stephen Belber, Brian Dykstra, David Johnston, Josh Lefkowitz, Matthew Freeman, Tom McCarthy, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Hollinger, and David Foley. Presently Anthony divides his time between New York City and Vancouver with his wife and four children.
