  • Her grandfather is American, and she was born and raised in Singapore by the age of 12.

  • She has been said to have exactly the same dimensions for her right and left side of the face which led to a German doctor wanting to use her face as a specimen for research uses.
  • Her appearance in the Ponds CM in 2002 was what led to her debut as an actress.
  • Moved to Singapore during her primary school days due to her father's work. She returned to Japan when she was in the first year of junior high and began working as a model.
  • She was originally going to portray supporting character Tamiko Oda from drama series Renai Jidai ("Love Generation"), but she dropped out because of the death of her 1-year-old son due to intestinal obstruction on April 20, 2015. The role went to Sei Ashina.
