DeVeau Dunn
De Veau Dunn started acting and writing in grade school, by his first year in college he had appeared in 22 commercials, 3 pilots and 2 television series including one with Tom Arnold and the other; a recurring role with Ben Stiller on Ben's critically acclaimed television series.

It was at this time De Veau optioned his first screenplay, which included a clause for him to co-direct. An injury led to a temporary break from the business but as he resolved the issue he studied filmmaking. Starting over De Veau wanted to learn the art of directing and became a full time film major in San Diego, California.

Attending film classes during the day and performing stand up comedy at night to hone his writing skills De Veau managed to get together a budget for his first 16mm film "Call Me Crazy." De Veau enlisted the help of many of his comedian friends including "Dat Phan," winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."

De Veau was able to write, direct and perform in "Call Me Crazy" which upon completion was immediately selected by the San Diego Film Foundation to headline a film festival that showcased San Diego's Top Ten Filmmakers. The positive audience response to the film, which ended in a standing ovation, catapulted De Veau's freshman effort to a spot in the San Diego Film Festival, which is the largest film festival in San Diego.

The following year, De Veau was asked by the head of the school's film department to represent the college in America's largest student film festival, "Best Fest America." De Veau's second short film "Mic Check" was shot digitally in only 48 hours but managed to sweep the festival by winning "Best Picture" along with the Audience Choice award for the entire festival. De Veau also brought home a screen writing award for "Emerald's Green Peace." The next year, Dunn produced a news package for Grossmont College that secured 1st place at the annual film festival sponsored by the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar.

Recently Dunn wrote and directed a mini documentary about the sport of women's boxing along with a music video that featured the music of David Bowie, both won awards in Best Fest America.

De Veau is currently completing his degree in Film while shooting segments for an independent cable series he has created.
