Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Victor’s recognized son and Titan’s established leader, saw Xander’s arrival as a direct challenge to his claim. Their battle for Titan’s control escalated quickly, culminating in a court ruling that mandated both brothers share Titan equally as co-CEOs.

Cat’s lies continued during the Friday, June 27 episode of Days of Our Lives. The FBI Analyst fed Chad a tall tale so she could go meet her new partner. Elsewhere in Salem, Johnny and Ej had a cathartic and forgiving conversation before Jada swooped in and arrested him. Board vote number two for the purchase of the hospital had a very familiar result. Xander and Philip brokered a very tentative truce while Alex and Stephanie brokered a deal of their own.

New Shift

Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Ej (Dan Feuerriegel) had a great moment in the middle of Horton Town Square. It is funny what happens when people communicate and remove any anger and resentment from the conversation. They realized that Ej assumed Johnny shot him, even though he only remembered his son training a gun on him. That Ej had been attempting to shield Johnny from attempted murder charges all along.

Let’s begin with Philip, who is still recovering in the hospital from injuries resulting from a bad beating. Fans know that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) was out of his mind with fury and kicked Philip while he was already down.

Xander regrets it but isn’t taking responsibility, either. Instead, Philip makes a deal with Xander. Not only do they have to work together and make it look smooth, but they could both end up in prison if the truth comes out.

Even though Gabi was super reluctant to work with Johnny, who initially gave Gabi some serious attitude, things progressed nicely. However, things took a turn by the time the cliffhanger rolled around in the Thursday, June 26, episode of Days of Our Lives.

Gabi’s Realization

While the scheduled meeting had a rough start, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) ended up bouncing ideas off each other beautifully. It was their task to brainstorm marketing ideas for Gabi Chic’s holiday campaign.

But the real reason the two needed to be in the same vicinity was for Gabi to realize it was Johnny she heard arguing with Ej (Dan Feuerriegel) the night the Dimera was shot and wounded.

And what did Gabi do? She pretended to get a headache, rescheduled their meeting, and quickly ran to her phone to call Rafe (Galen Gering) to tell him what she had concluded.
