“Hell’s Kitchen” celebrates its milestone 350th episode on Fox Wednesday, October 24. In its 23rd season, the cooking competition led by Chef Gordon Ramsay has become a staple of reality TV and launched the foul-mouthed culinary powerhouse into superstar status.
Ramsay was first introduced to American audiences when “Hell’s Kitchen” premiered in May 2005. Viewers were quickly drawn to his angry tirades in the kitchen that led to some of the most popular memes and phrases on social media. Idiot sandwich, anyone? Each season sees cooks competing to become a head chef at one of Gordon’s flagship restaurants. Some of the winners have even gone on to high-ranking positions within Gordon’s other business ventures.
Season 23 is a “Head Chefs Only” theme, and for the first time ever, all 18 contestants are head chefs at their respective restaurants at home. There are currently 13 chefs still in the running to become this year’s champ.

The season 22 finale of “Hell’s Kitchen” aired Thursday, January 25 on Fox, ending with Cork, Ireland’s Ryan O’Sullivan defeating Huntington Beach native Johnathan Benvenuti. Ryan won a $250,000 cash prize and the head chef position at Hell’s Kitchen Las Vegas. For Johnathan, it was a bittersweet way to end his journey with host Gordon Ramsay.
“At least it was him,” Johnathan tells Gold Derby senior editor Denton Davidson. “I got home and my daughter said, ‘Daddy, did you win?’ I won second place. I didn’t lose anything. You hear Gordon say too, ‘You didn’t lose.’ At least it was to Ryan. It was a fair-fought battle. I’m super proud with how everything turned out. I wouldn’t change a thing. It was really cool to share that moment with him.” Watch the exclusive video interview above.

Making the moment even more memorable was Ryan’s father flying in from Ireland to taste his food for the first time. “To see my dad walk through those doors was very special for me,” he says. “Not only that,...

One frequent complaint fans have with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is the lack of Ben Affleck as Batman.
During the sequel's production, Jason Momoa revealed with a social media post that there were plans to include Affleck's Batman in the Aquaman follow-up. An image from the set was shared of Affleck wearing his dark Bruce Wayne suit and Momoa appeared to be pretty stoked to have the Batman actor alongside him. Many fans then went into the film expecting to see Affleck popping up at some point, perhaps in a post-credits sequence, but that never came to be. Some have since taken to social media to vent their frustrations over Batfleck getting axed, as that was probably the final opportunity to ever show this version of the Dark Knight.
