Duke Dennis was recently arrested at a local mall in San Antonio, Texas, late at night on Saturday, August 2. The popular content creator is famous for his Twitch streams and prominent position in the content group Amp (Any Means Possible) since day one.

In a video that has since been going viral on the internet of the arrest, the YouTuber was seen sitting handcuffed on the floor while surrounded by cops (see the @theneighbourhoodtalk handle’s post on Instagram). But as severe as the news about his being currently behind bars sounds, the reason behind his arrest could have just anyone gawking at the news.

Duke Dennis, best known for his NBA 2K streams and role in Amp, was arrested Saturday night while reportedly playing hide-and-seek inside a San Antonio mall after hours. His mugshot has since gone public. The 31-year-old creator, whose real name is Denzel Dennis, was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespassing and evading arrest, according to San Antonio police.

Target is becoming quite the destination for creator products. It’s been the flagship destination for Ryan Trahan‘s Joyride, and now it’s picking up Amp‘s personal care brand Tone.

Amp–aka Kai Cenat, Duke Dennis, Fanum, Agent 00, ChrisNxtDoor, and ImDavisss–launched Tone in February with a collection of body lotions, deodorants, and lip balms. Within three days, the brand (created in partnership with Dallas-based management company Night) had netted seven-figure sales.

To mark Tone’s nationwide Target debut, Amp is rolling out two new products: body wash and body mist, both in “Fresh, Citrus, Woodland and Coconut” scents.

Like most creator products, Tone started out Dtc, for digital purchase only; this is its first time in an Irl retail environment. That move, the brand says, is strategic.

The luminaries of YouTube’s basketball scene are venturing to Austin for a little five-on-five. On July 26 and 27, the House of Highlights Creator League will return to RDCWorld‘s DreamCon gathering for a pair of athletic events: A dodgeball showdown and a creator-led basketball game.

The Creator League has become a breakout hit for Bleacher Report-affiliated House of Highlights (H0H), which has launched a dedicated channel for its creator sports competitions. DreamCon is a key venue for HoH; the brand tripled its branded content revenue by working directly with creators, including RDCWorld leading man Mark Phillips.

Snapchat parent Snap Inc. made a flurry of announcements during its NewFronts presentation to advertisers, including team-ups with Issa Rae and Live Nation as well as the launch of an in-app sports channel.

At the event Wednesday night in New York, the company said it has also renewed its agreements with the NBA and WNBA and reached a deal with longtime partner NBCUniversal centered on the Paris Olympics.
