Biography

This gifted young actress has graced screens for over a decade in feature films, commercials, music videos and soap operas. Not to mention being voted '25th Sexiest Woman in the World' by FHM Thailand. Ailey's has truly been an international career, having resided in Scotland, Dubai, New Zealand, Thailand and Australia.

She has landed roles in Hollywood, Bollywood and Thai feature films. This started with working alongside Steven Seagal in the Hollywood film Un aller pour l'enfer (2003) as a damsel in distress whom he was sent to save. More recently Ailey worked alongside Academy Award-winner Mira Sorvino on the Hollywood production of Trade of Innocents (2012) as Sorvino's stunt double. She also had small roles in Jean-Claude Van Damme's movie The Eagle Path (2010), and the Weinstein Company's sumptuous Shanghai (2010) with John Cusack and a veritable who's who of an Asian cast.

Ailey has also landed over 20 lead roles in commercials in Thailand, Japan, India, Vietnam and even Russia. This culturally diverse life and her ability to adapt have contributed massively to Ailey's wonderful versatility as an actress and her mastery of accents. Ailey enthusiastically pursues her acting career, continually attending acting workshops, most recently completing the VCA's Reel Acting Certificate. Before that she completed the Acting for Film Diploma at the New York Film Academy in Paris, and was accepted into the Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts at Actors Centre Australia.

Ailey also maintains her modeling career and is studying at university to earn a Degree in Marketing and Communications. Ailey is a keen sportsperson with mountain biking, rock climbing, swimming, rollerblading, diving, cycling, surfing and scuba diving (licenced). She is also has stunt-level skills in martial arts, has experience with harness stunts, and is a dynamic dancer. Eilidh is Gaelic for 'The Light' and with a future as bright as hers you have to say that she truly lives up to her name.
