Biography

Preity Mukhundhan is an Indian Film actress residing in Chennai. Born on July 30,2001 to doctor parents, Preity grew up in Trichy, Tamil Nadu and subsequently relocated to Chennai to pursue a career in film acting. Preity holds a B Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the prestigious National Institute of Technology Trichy(NIT-T).

Preity is a passionate Bharatanatyam Dancer with formal training since the tender age of 5 years and has been a regular performing artist at Chennai's Music and Dance seasons.Apart from Classical dance, she is accomplished in Hiphop, cine folk ,western, contemporary as well as fusion forms and has won many prizes in intercollegiate cultural events as a member Dance-Troupe of NIT-Trichy.

She made her debut in modelling in the year 2018, during the first year of college. Despite a rigorous and demanding educational curriculum as a residential program for four years, Preity acted in more than a hundred TV commercials and Print Ads, that included some reputed regional and National brands. Her work catapulted her to the top in South Indian Ad-film industry. Her debut video music album ' Muttu Mu2' featuring Teejay Arunasalam , Yogi B, Sivaangi Krish and Vijay TV Pugazh saw a whopping 4.2 Million views on YouTube.

Preity is currently playing a lead role in the upcoming Tamil film titled 'STAR', opposite Kavin (Big Boss and DADA fame) , directed by Elan and produced by Rise East Entertainment and B.V.S.N Prasad (SVCC).

Preity is set to make her debut in Telugu film industry, as the lead female actor pairing renowned actor Vishnu Manchu in his magnum opus, devotional epic Pan-Indian film 'KANNAPPA' starring Mohan Babu , Mohanlal , Sarath Kumar, Prabhas , Brahmanandam , Madhoo and other stalwart actors. The movie is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by 24 Frames Factory.
