- Ed Formica is an American actor born in Philadelphia, PA, home to actors such as Sylvester Stallone, Grace Kelly, Will Smith, Joey Bishop, Seth Green, Kevin Hart, W.C. Fields, Frankie Avalon, Fabian and Bradley Cooper, just to name a few. After leaving a successful business career, Ed was encouraged by a friend to be an extra for the upcoming movie "Alto Knights" starring Robert De Niro and directed by Barry Levinson. Originally cast as an Extra playing Judge Bentley Morris, Ed was upgraded as a Principal Performer and eligible to join SAG - AFTRA
Since "Alto Knights", Ed has been in two music videos. He played a prisoner in Sam Hunt's "Locked Up" and was a featured actor in Brother's Osborne's "Nobody's Nobody." In addition to this, Ed is a Featured Extra in "Queen of The Ring" and plays two roles in the upcoming movie "Chopin" as a doctor and businessman. Ed supports our local community and took on a speaking role in the released movie "Renegade" The Series.
As a private investor, his company 4Mica Entertainment signed on as the Executive Producer with RNR Media, Rossetti Productions as well as the Executive Producer for Renegade The Series.
4Mica Publishing LLC (Children's Books & Music Productions.) signed with Fulton Books to release his first children's book in late 2025. Ed has also filmed a local commercial that is aired on PBS as well as a commercial for Sullivan University.
Ed works out of the Cincinnati, Ohio area and is still learning to perfect his skills to become a better actor and learn the industry with the support of his family, friends, and new relationships in the entertainment industry.
