Biography

    • Walid Sam is an actor whose passion for watching movies and admiration for remarkable acting performances inspired him to pursue a career in acting. His journey began in 2014 with a theater workshop led by director Hamza Boulaiz. This initial experience paved the way for his involvement in several short films with emerging directors, many of which won awards and were showcased at international film festivals.

His first television experience came under the direction of Youssef Britel in the TV series *El Madani*, where he played the character Janjabil. This role led to various other TV projects, culminating in lead roles in two upcoming productions: *12 Hours* for Al Aoula TV and *Al Haffa* for the Shahid VIP platform, both directed by Mohamed El Asri.

His international breakthrough came with the Korean film *Ransomed*, directed by Kim Seong-Hun. This role opened the door to further international projects, including the British documentary *Jesus: Crown of Thorns* and the Spanish film *RAQA*, directed by Gerardo Herrero and starring Álvaro Morte.
