Daniella Monet is an American actress, singer, entrepreneur, and advocate, best known for her breakout role as Trina Vega on the hit Nickelodeon series Victorious. Born in West Hills, California, Monet began her career in entertainment at the age of seven, appearing in national television commercials and making her TV debut in Pacific Blue (1997). She went on to land recurring roles on network shows such as American Dreams, The Bernie Mac Show, and 8 Simple Rules, before starring alongside Jason Alexander in the CBS sitcom Listen Up!.
Her work with Nickelodeon expanded to include starring roles in Zoey 101, A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner! (as Tootie), and the Fred movie franchise, where she portrayed Bertha in Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred and Fred 3: Camp Fred. She also appeared in feature films including Nancy Drew, Taking 5, and the cult horror film Simon Says.
In 2013, Monet appeared in the popular ABC Family series Baby Daddy, playing Sam Saffe, a high school crush who becomes entangled in a love triangle with the show's main characters. More recently, she has starred in original movies for the Hallmark Channel, including Sisterhood, Inc. (2024), a story of female friendship and ambition, and Holiday Crashers (2023), a festive romantic comedy centered around unexpected connections during the holiday season.
