Hundreds of roles and performances later (including two summer season's with the University's "Wagon Stage" performances for playgrounds troupe [the first ever to be called upon for a second season]) after graduation with a BFA degree he quickly moved into professional acting work. Stage performances included work with Theatre Calgary, and a season of Summer Stock with Sunshine Theatre in Kelowna, British Columbia, he also joined Travelers Theatre, where he created a Comedia del Arte improvised product of "The Hat" which won multiple awards at the British Columbia Drama Festival, that launched a highly successful set of professional performances for schools tours. His early film and video work included lots of roles for the Alberta Provincial Government's ACCESS Educational Television productions. Mr. Williamson has written an intermittent online by-lined column for the American Chronicle/Santa Barbara Chronicle websites since 2006. Mr. Williamson is the author of several books including "Puppyfish", and "Puppy Goes to Lambergarten" remedial readers for middle school children, as well as "Minyan by Proxy", a three-character play in the style of Doc Simon's Broadway comedies.
