Biography

Sönke Möhring is a German actor known for his roles in both national and international film productions. He grew up in Herne, Germany, with his father serving as an army officer and his mother working as a teacher. Following in the footsteps of his older brother, actor Wotan Wilke Möhring, Sönke began his acting career in the early 2000s. He made his national debut in Stefan Ruzowitzky's "Anatomy 2" (2003) and gained international recognition with his role as Private Butz in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" (2009). Throughout his career, Möhring has appeared in various films and television series, including "The Impossible" (2012) and "Alles Klara" (2012).
