  • Jerry's father, John Williams was staff drummer at Columbia Studios; father of composer John Williams. John senior had come to town with Jerry Colonna who was a trombone player before he got into comedy with Bob Hope.
  • Brother of famed composer/ conductor John Williams, and Don Williams, who plays drums on all the stage shows that come to town, and is also one of the finest timpanist's in the film studios.
  • Jerry recorded as part of the Phil Spector 'Wall of Sound' aka The Wrecking Crew as well with Brian Wilson on "Pet Sounds" and other Beach Boys albums. His percussion work can be heard on Frank Sinatra's "Duets", with Vikky Carr, The Monkies, Ann-Margaret and extensively on Martin Denny albums.
