Henry Winkler and Chrissy Teigen Go K.A.M.P-ing at Hammer Museum Fundraiser

Hundreds of parents and children gathered in the Hammer Museum’s courtyard on Sunday morning for its annual Kids’ Art Museum Project (K.A.M.P.) fundraiser.

The Westwood museum utilized its outdoor space to host stations featuring art projects, Annie Campbell food, and music by DJ Reprise and kids band The Sunday Dreamers. A highlight of the day was several children’s storytime readings with celebrity guests Henry Winkler, Chrissy Teigen and Crystal Kung Minkoff. Author Kelly Yang also read to the crowd of children.

Winkler kicked off the reading by introducing his grandchildren to the crowd. The 78-year-old read from three of the books he’s co-authored and introduced the children to his book series, Detective Duck, pausing at times to show the crowd the book’s illustrations. The actor even shared a chapter from the latest Detective Duck book, which is expected to be released later this month.

But in the time of coronavirus, with padlocked movie theaters and social distance orders in place, the company is weaponizing its promotional budgets to make a different kind of impression — supporting devastated local businesses and helping to feed school kids.

Within the past month, Amazon has staged two “at-home” movie premieres for tastemakers and press, providing dinner, concession snacks, some good wine and other creature comforts. Deliveries in over 10 markets across the country utilize product from local food and beverage shops,...

Tovey reveals "heartbreaking" final scenes
Home and Away actress Jess Tovey has revealed that she found shooting her final scenes with co-star Todd Lasance (Aden Jefferies) "heartbreaking". The 21-year-old, who announced in May that she had quit her role as Belle Taylor, told TV Week that it was "incredibly hard" to say goodbye to the series after three years. "My last scene with Todd was just heartbreaking," she said. "I had my eyes closed and he was holding me really tight. When they called out, 'Cut!' I flung my arms around his neck and we just hugged for ages. "My last scene with Lynne McGranger, where Belle is thanking Irene, mirrored everything I felt about Lynne. But one of the hardest goodbyes was with Charlotte Best (Annie Campbell). She's like my little sister and we were both (more)...
