American expat Lucas (Christopher McCombs) works at a small, struggling English language school in the countryside of Chiba, Japan and is doing what it takes to make ends meet.  In the same town, half-Japanese Ken (Christopher Nishizawa) has been working at his uncle's construction business since he was fifteen years old and is struggling to figure out what he wants with his life.  Over the course of three days, Lucas and Ken meet and help each other realize how important it is to have people and places to attach yourself to.

Yayoi Fujiwara is a Japanese actor. Born and raised in Tokyo, Yayoi embarked on her artistic journey in 2016 by studying fine arts at University of the Arts London and graduated with a BA in Performance: Design and Practice in 2019. Fujiwara continued her education at the New National Theatre Tokyo Drama Studio from 2020 until 2023. Her first feature film role will be Marie in the upcoming film Aichaku. She is fluent in both English and Japanese.
